August - Touring St. Lucia

It's not all work.  We often have a little time to see some sites.  We had a half day to see a bit of the country.

Really cool double tunnel.

I want a mobile pizza van.

Canaries.  OK, don't look for birds.  That's the name of the town.

The Pitons.  Soufriere is the town at the base.  Soufriere is French for sulphur.  It gets the name because of the sulphur that comes from the volcano near here.

A view of Soufriere the town at the base of the Pitons.

We had to have a picture with the Pitons in the background.

Waterfall in the Botanical Garden.

Good looking gal found at the waterfall.  Wonder if we go back if she will still be there.

Sometimes the foreground gets cluttered.

Sister Moore at the original bath house at the Sulpher Springs and Mineral Bath.

See my name is not that unusual.

Inside the volcano.  We live just a day trip from Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, USA but still had to go see the volcano up-close.

Why are they smiling?  They are in a volcano and it smells like sulpher.

Point to point.

Pirate ship in the harbor.

Cool little hole in the rock.  This was at Canaries.

Wouldn't you know it Elder Moore is on the beach again.

Really loved the paint job.  A building in Castries.
