Barbados Association for the Blind and Deaf, Fun Day Activities

Brother Welch who is blind asked if we could get some missionaries to help with the Barbados Association for the Blind and Deaf "Fun Day".  We got some of the missionaries to help set up the tents and then the missionaries helped with the activities the next day.

Putting together the tent frames.

Putting the top on.

Putting the legs on.

This one was in the wrong spot so it had to be moved.

I like his t-shirt.  And yes, he is blind.

Sack race.  These guys are blind.  We just made a lot of noise and they raced to the noise.

Egg race.  The runners had helpers to guide them.  Two of the Sister Missionaries were guides.

Children's sack rare.

Who would have thought that you didn't need sight to race.  We were unable to stay for all of the events.  Later that day they played cricket.  This was a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Our two super heroes, just look at those socks.  This is Elder Woodruff and Elder Ort.
